Standing overhead barbell triceps extension |
Stand
up straight holding a barbell with you palms facing forward and with a
closer than shoulder width grip. Your arms should be fully extended
above your head. That is the starting position. Now, keeping your upper
arms stationary and close to the head, slowly lower the bar until your
forearms touch your biceps. Inhale while you do this part of the
repetition. Now, as you exhale, use your triceps and raise the bar back
to the starting position. You can also do this exercise with a EZ-bar,
dumbbells or you can attach a rope to a low pulley cable ( cable rope
overhead triceps extension ).
