Barbell shrug |
Stand
up straight and grab the barbell with your palms facing your thighs.
Your feet should be at shoulder width and your hands a little wider than
shoulder width apart. Now, as you exhale, raise your shoulders up and
hold for a second. Now, as you inhale, slowly return to the starting
position. You can also do this exercise with the barbell behind your
back, on a calf-machine or on a smith machine. For better grip you can
use wrist wraps.
